I'm 20 now I think 30's and up is not considered young. I'll probably change my mind when I get to that age.

By 40 you are most ********* middle age and should be working on your career and retirement plan at the same time.

My joints are wonderful, I train in the gym six days a week and I remember where it is, lol...I feel as fit as I did 30 years ago, I'm slimmer than when I was younger, in the last five months I've built a 18 foot timber shed and fitted over 700 sq.ft. Of decking and decorated most of my house.....I'm just pointing out that over 50 only means your old in a young persons eyes, but when you get older, you will realise that you can still feel as you did at 30....

I think we're all young, just some act old, and others judge ones older than them as old. But I know I'm here for so short a time, to call myself old seems wrong, but that's just how it is. My dog is 16, and he's an old dog, a girl is 16, and she's fresh and new. So it's not the age, it's the animal. Some trees live 4000 years. I'm not old, really, just this shell I use makes it seem that way.

Good points, but your body will let you know when you are older. I got through the 50's pretty well but the 60's have let me know I am getting older. I think it is health more than mind that lets you know your older.

It's not a number but rather a state of mind. One clue someone is getting old is when they start ******** about the music these kids listen to today,...

Depends on the person.. It depends on how they act :)

After 70s. The number does not count what really counts is how do you feel and how healthy you are.

Late thirties is probably the *** of being called young, to me.

I think around 30. Not that you are old but just no longer young.

Well sure you can walk talk and indeed do many of the things I can do, but how are your joints, or your memory? I know that I am not getting any more memory myself, and thank *** my joints aren't having any problems, Not only that but just because someone is old doesn't mean they aren't healthy, I said around 50 is old, 30-50 is middle aged, a middle aged man on the work place (especially mine) are experienced and knowledgeable, and the new guys like my self aren't stupid, but don't know all the tricks. With age comes experience, but also limits, and the rate at which each person gains these two things are unique and completely independent of each other.

I think I'd call anyone young till they hit 40.

The older you get, the more that age shifts UP. When I turned 60, I decided I couldn't say I was "middle-aged" anymore -- I didn't realistically expect to live to120.

Different for everyone, I'd say whenever you don't feel young anymore.

You'd be surprised but that threshold lifts up with years. When you are 15 you think 25 is old but when you are 70 you think 75 is still young :-)

i say 35 cause you've been an ***** forever an-a-day. hopefully by age 35 you're settled down with a wife/husband and some kiddies. and after your 35 you just enjoy what you've accomplished. (40s or 50s are relax years, the "i don't give a flying FFFFFF" attitude starts)

It's in the mind and not in the age.

You will look back in years to come and laugh at that statement ....I can walk talk and do most things you can do, but you can't do all the things I do....lol

70 is the new 30, young people don't know how vibrant and fit you can be at that age, with a little effort...

upper 30s. That doesn't mean you're old, you're in between old and young,

Well, I'd say you're only as old as you feel. If you don't feel old, then maybe you never really get old at heart, however, yes, the body does age...

50 is my old age.

30 for me, I'm 23 so I'm still very young, but 30 is where I always considered some one to no longer be young, that's where they become middle-aged. and 50 is where someone begins to become old.

I no longer felt young when I noticed that all of the Playboy Playmates were younger than I. I realized that I was middle aged when all of the Playboy Playmates were younger than my ********.

My grandchild has just graduated from high school.
