the cat i used to have was. his name actually meant little lion in some african language. he really thought he was a little lion. i loved him so much and it was so adorable to play with him when he was a kitten cause he thought he was the biggest thing in the world lol

That cat above looks just like the one I have now but without the mane. Yes she is a fearless lion wannabe. She jumps on the stair balconies, climbs the curtains and even gets above the drop ceiling somehow and cries for me to get her down. She's not too much of a lion when I'm running the vacuum though.

I am currently annoyed by my cat. He somehow got his crazed self trapped in the house after we left for the day, and then PEED everywhere. It wouldn't have been so bad if he hadn't violated the baby's bed and mine. He is no longer a house cat.

Our cat George is no longer with us. He unfortunately lost his last battle with a rather large owl here at the ranch. We brought him here with us when we moved here and he loved to stay outside during the day. At night George was an inside cat. He managed to fight off or escape the owls quite a few times. We sure do miss him, maybe some day we will adopt another kitty. As an inside cat only,,,,

His name is Rhett. He is the only male cat out of our seven cats, so that already makes him the leader of our family "pride". He likes to let the other cats know who is in charge. One of our cats disappeared for three months, but when she came back Rhett was relentless with his attacks on her, which is odd because they got along really well before she left. He can be a bully sometimes, but overall he's sweet. He's kind of odd though. He doesn't like people touching him (except for extremely rare occasions). It doesn't make sense since he was born in my house and has been handled since he was a baby. I think it's just his I'm-too-good-for-you, get-your-filthy-hands-off-of-me attitude that he has to maintain as the leader.

I have two little calico lions. They think they are human most of the time. They have owned me for 15 years and I'm pretty well trained. Sometime I can get the squeeky mouse before they can. I think they just let me though. They make better humans than I do a lion. :-)
