A few months ago a judge found Oregon's ban on same *** marriage unconstitutional.

In August, in front of a judge and our two closest friends my life partner became my wife. After 24 years together the government FINALLY recognized our union.

Marriage is an antiquated system. I'll most likely get a legal wedding for the legal benefits, but I don't need a piece of paper to love someone.

Legally married 14 years to my ex wife (I only count 11, that is when I found out she was cheating)

I am terrified of unwavering commitment. Have you ever heard of commit-a-phobia? Well, I have it. Always get to the point in a relationship where she wants to pick out wedding rings or starts looking at wedding dresses and then I am suddenly too busy to see her anymore.
