Are asians actually scientifically smarter than other races or is it only a steryotype?

Asian students are no more intellectually gifted than non-Asian students are. The reason that Asian students outperform their peers in the classroom has nothing to do with how they were born and everything to do with how they are raised....... Respect your elders and obey your parents.
Study **** and do well in school to secure a bright future.... Basic rules!

A few things:

1) Before calling other people dumb, you might want to work on your spelling.

It's "Christian," not "christain," and the word is also capitalized. Also, "brainwashing" is one word, not two.

It's pretty rich for you to call people "dumb" when your own handle on your own native language is less than stellar.

2) You're an atheist. You atheists are big on proof and evidence. You're constantly chirping about how we shouldn't believe in *** because of the proof-and-evidence thing.

Well, then, let's see your proof or evidence that my less-than-stellar grades in school were because of "Christian brainwashing."

Why is it that atheists, those so-called champions of proof and evidence, so often give themselves permission to claim anything they want ... without any proof or evidence to back it up?

You don't even know me. You have no idea why my grades in my youth weren't as good as they could have been. And you certainly have no proof or evidence that it was due to "Christian brainwashing."

Be a good atheist, and back up what you say with some proof and evidence. Or failing that, stop demanding proof and evidence from people whose beliefs differ from yours.

Double-standards shouldn't be the highest standards to which you atheists aspire.

I know when I was out in California in summer,I was working out with wrestling squad.I noticed kids were playing basketball ,throwing Frisbee around enjoying summer.I past the library and looks in and people of different Asia back grounds were in the library studying.So it tells me the Asians were more motivated to make a good living in life. My hat off to them.

I do not know about scientifically or not. But Asians work extremely **** at school and are dedicated students. They always rank very high in scholastic achievements. They also have a higher I.Q. than others do as well.

It's a stereotype that only seems true because there are many asian parents who push their ******** very **** to excel. In high school I knew an asian guy who was horrible at math and ok in all other subjects; he was really good in basketball though. His parents were westernized so he had a relaxed upbringing.

I don't think it's so much a matter of being smarter, as it is just coming from more stable and solid homes.

The out-of-wedlock birth rate for Asian Americans is around 11%.

That's much lower than the overall national average, much lower than the rate for white Americans, and MUCH MUCH lower than the rate for African Americans.

And the simple truth is that kids who are born into families with a mother AND a father, and who grow up in two-parent homes, are far more likely to do better in school.

They're also far less likely to get in trouble with the law, which helps explain why Asian Americans' crime rates are rather low compared to other groups.

They are smarter, due to evolutionary differences. Africans have always been hunters gatherers, so they need to be big, strong, fast and have quick reflexes. Makes them perfect for hunting and the 100 metre sprint. Europeans have always farmed crops, which requires physical strength but also some intelligence, so we're in the middle. Asians have grown rice for thousands of years, and for those who don't know about growing rice, it takes a lot of intelligence because rice is a picky grower. If you're not smart, your rice yield will be low, unlike normal farming where it doesn't really matter. The IQ difference is an average of 10 points between Asians and whites, I think.

It's not genetic or anything it's cultureal they're pushed more within their society to be successful even if it means little to no social life.
