I am anti-SUV and not because of any environmental reason. If there was ever a vehicle made for women it is the SUV/Crossover. I believe after the pickup the European wagon has to be the manliest vehicle available. Because 1) the utility 2) most come with sport package standard 3) women detest wagons and never want to be seen in one

More versatile in use as you can convert into a small truck for cargo.

We've hauled everything in our SUV including trailers and moving our kids multiple times in and out of dorms and apartments. Not to mention road trips with friends all in one vehicle. Love them AND trucks.

Living far north, an SUV or truck makes it possible to navigate the snow.

I currently own a sedan, but am looking to upgrade to an SUV or Minivan when I can.... kids kind of influence these decisions... that first time packing all the crap you need to keep your baby alive into a small sedan really influences future decisions.

What's the catch, Mordecai? ;)
I don't recognize the make/model. What is it? The lines look like a Chevy to me.
350,000 miles is impressive, whatever it is.

Roads are getting increasingly worse and you cannot beat the utility of an SUV when you are trying to maintain a healthy, active, lifestyle.

Buick Lacrosse -- best car I ever owned. I once owned a Ford Explorer Sport Trac and while it had a lot of good points, it ate up tires like there was no tomorrow and the gas mileage was ridiculous. I vastly prefer the Buick. There's not a thing I don't like about it.

I have no need for an SUV. A sedan is just fine - better gas mileage and there are no SUVs out there equipped with a manual transmission. Say what you want, but I want three pedals and a gearshift lever. Driving an automatic is just plain boring.

I have no need for a oil tanker as the wife calls them. There is just two of us so don't need a tank.
