Only because our government is involved. There is something fishy about all this. Not usually a conspiracy theorist...just a feeling.

Shh! Don't tell the CDC! It's a secret! Winter is Coming.

The truth is that Ebola is a tropical disease. It can't survive under 43 Degrees.

Another engineered disease designed to make people dependent on government.

i would be more concerned about the flu bug which kills an average of 30,000 people a year. in this country.

50% in Africa, where medicine is not as advanced, and where they are in the tropics, not in freezing weather, and there are other factors! No, I'm not concerned. There is too much on this Ebola being big for it to scare me. What would scare me, is a disease that had no coverage at all!

wouldn't you? it's one of the deadliest disease on the planet. Lack of proper medical supplies, medical facilities equipped to treat the disease, lack of properly trained doctors, and slow government responses to set up proper protocols and emergency response centers and or teams all combine to make the disease and plague deadlier.

I didn't mention ebola and Obama.. you must be confused.. By the way.. Reagan was in no way responsible for Aids.. that is principally a lifestyle problem.. not a political problem...and by the way.. you are wasting your race card on me.. sorry..we get along with all the blacks in our family.. race card

More afraid of our leaders who can't lead a a squirrel to a pecan tree.

Because not everybody dies from it. People live if they seek treatment as soon as they know they have it. The biggest problem in 3rd world countries is the lack of sanitation. That makes it difficult to cure people.

Not yet. It seems most people with the disease either did not use due diligence or were trying to help the sick people. So many more people die from influenza, that should be a priority in this country. If Ebola ever becomes airborne and can be spread by wind, then the caution flag would go up.

im a little concerned, yes but more people die from the flu every year. last year 30,000 people died from the flu. i would think that would concern more people than ebola.

Under Reagan's admin 20,849 americans died of Aids before he took action. How has Obama's Immediate response after 3 cases make 'him' the bad guy…oh yes He's black!

I'm more afraid of salmonella and E-coli. You're far more likely to run into those here in the States.

Precautions help. Besides, we aren't really the ones who should be worried here.

As a Geek of most areas of science and nerd of every other area of science (including biology) I am scared of ebola simply because of two things that they don't tell you.
One it is government policy to avoid causing wide spread panic at all cost there-fore in a crisis situation they will always play down the true nature of the severity of the crisis.
Two Ebola started in Africa, and within 2 weeks was in spain, that tells me and any scientifically minded person with common sense that ebola is either air born or in the water.
My whole life I have wanted to go to Ibiza well this year I got the chance to go in september, than I herd about Ebola, I canceled the holiday and I am not even going to london either because it is near a river. I may never get a chance to go to Ibiza again, but health is more important.

Someone would have to be pretty foolish to not be afraid of a disease with a death rate which exceeds 50%. But then, sane people would make choices to avoid going to places where they would be likely to be exposed to the disease in the first place, so I'm not afraid of getting it, because I'm staying away from it.

This will make you wonder if there really is a conspiracy to thin out the world population by world Governments: http://www.fromthetrencheswor...

Since it's not an airborne disease it doesn't scare me. I don't come into contact with many people, and the few people I come in contact with I make sure and wash my hands as soon as I get home. I haven't even had a cold or the flu in over 20 years.
