There are certain political polls I would never think to participate in since they seem to only want people that think like they do.

I don't understand.

Sometimes, rather the poll is meant to be bullying or not just responding to a poll can get you bullied.

I cannot be "bullied" verbally unless I pose as a victim. Physically, it's another matter.

Politics and religion can bring out so many divergent views. Plus many questions are slanted to entice controversy.

Most are.

See the political posts party vs party. It's a very sad demonstration of our race.

I actually think the two party left right thing is all a manufactured distraction anyway, since
it really never changes anything no matter which party rules anyway, so what's the point.

Yes, those that are Polititards and make everything a political discussion, most ********* slanting their angst to a specified direction to get their friends to agree with some nonsense. I don't care what they do in the Political forum I don't go there but they love to spread the stupid topic everywhere when many could care less.

A lot of political and social polls are there only to give some sort of verification for the pollsters own beliefs.

Once in a while, but the bullies find me politely full of gristle and boney. There are all kinds of bullies, they often run in gangs.

Polls aren't bullies.

People are bullies. :(

Just go the N&P; section and you will see all the bullying you want.

There's a lot of polls on here where the person knows exactly what they are doing and to bait, is the phrase, I guess, to get people all angry with one another. Someone told me they were called "fire polls".

Bullying can be physical, as you say, but also verbal, non-verbal, and written.

Good point.

Some are yes.. There are some people on here that have a habit of asking a question and then when you respond with your opinion, they freak out and start being *** clowns.

Especially on this site. They are set up to be biased and completely one-sided. Some leave you no choice. Either answer choice condemns only one side, as if the poster has already made his or her mind up and you are just there to agree.

How can a poll be bullying when a poll is inanimate, the people in the poll maybe. Even then, it's a matter of perception. Bullying to me is a physical offense.

I have never accepted that. I taught my son the same way.

Your feelings your emotions are yours and yours alone and you and only you have control over them words are just words they can neither hurt, offend or insult you, the day you let words do any of those things you are allowing someone else control over your feelings and emotions next you will lose control of your actions, don't let it happen.

The politics section is mainly inhabited by political nuts who would rather have their own opinions and rhetoric reiterated to them instead of having a civil discourse and debate opposing viewpoints.

Most people who spend time in the politics section don't care for debating. They just want to force their opinions on everyone and have everyone think the same way they do. If you think differently from them, then you're against them. They have a ''If you're not with me, you're against me'' mentality. They see things in black-and-white perspective and leave no room for neutrality or a middle ground.

The politics section more or less is just a playground where angry kids go to bicker and argue over who gets to play on the seesaw first. There is little debate there, it's mainly just immature arguing and name-calling.

What makes it worse is that most of these people are so much older than me, yet I act more mature than them. Most kids I know don't act that immature. These are ****** we're talking about but they act like ********.

There is a lot of subdued anger and resentment of the upper classes, and very many people are seeing the same thing, that the two party left right thing is all a manufactured distraction anyway, since
it really never changes anything no matter which party rules.
So we have left, right, and growing numbers of independents.
Even Princeton political scientists are today publically describing the USA as a corporate oligarchy,
not a democracy.

I don’t think some polls are a bit bullying. You read the poll and comment if you see fit. If you don’t like it, don’t answer it and go to the next, it’s that simple.

Yes but let's say you want to stick up for Hillary and you go on that site and the responses give you 4 choices of Hillary *****. Then you start to think Wow these people might beat me up if i go on and say I admire Hillary...

I see you're point! That makes sense. No one is going to beat me up. lol

Of course no one is going to beat either of us up...but it still sometimes leaves one with the feeling that if they could...they would...the invisible side of bullying.
