It's a shame the sheeple in this country are more concerned about animals than babies with NY passing a law allowing the murder of live born babies using lethal injection into their hearts.

And the state abuses animals more than anything ? The employees from the cypress park animal shelter in los angeles ca are known to be dog fighters / gang members you can see it when you walk in there with any type of fighting capable dog the gangster employees come out to size up the dogs I walked in to the place with two female pits that I found on the street tied to a pole and they whete all about it , it's all bad in that place .....

No because if you have a little bit of money and power, like Michael Vick did when he got caught operating a dog fighting ring on his property, one will get off with nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

If anyone is cruel enough to maliciously hurt an animal it is a matter of time till they are hurting people. They need to be punished severely. They are probably a psychopath.

Some vets take new kittens or ***** cats in. I thought you were taking her to the vet on one of your polls when she was in heat, to get her spayed?

I've heard a little about that, what's that all about? and yes, they certainly are trying to cheapen human life, soon animal life will be valued over human life.

They should equal any felony plus ten. Or just let me have them for a few hours.

people need to get what is coming to them for what they do to these innocent creatures!

I still cringe at the idea that animals are considered to be "property" rather than living, feeling, creatures. I am always going to be in favor of stricter, harsher laws against any person who deliberately or negligently harms domestic or wild animals for any unlawful purpose.

Some are and some are not. Depends on the state. But, even though the laws are on the books, how often are they actually implemented to their full extent. Even though it has been shown that people who are cruel to animals eventually move on to people. Especially ********.

Maybe make the punishment fit the crime, do unto them what they have done to the animals!

The concern is that these laws can be used not just to protect "puppies and kitties," but could be used to LIMIT hunting and AGRICULTURE!

The punishments do not measure up to the life of the animal. They are too lenient!

I think all animal abuse, intentional or neglect should provide mandatory 12 months jail time for first offense plus 10k fine and mandatory 5 yr parole after jail. I would much rather see an animal abuser behind bars than someone that gets locked up for possession of any recreational drug in a personal use quantity. I would say that is a much better investment of my tax dollars.

But then again, does it really matter? Michael Vick still has a career!

The most sickening part is that they care more about a sick dog than the ever escalating number of abortions and the disgusting, demorat sickos still want to allow the killing of full term babies!

I love animals but we need to look at the reality of this ! ! !

All animal cruelty is unacceptable, most of the time people don't get into any trouble at all.

It us to give anyone a felony over a stupid animal. We don't treat animals any more cruel than other animals in nature.
