The universe was never created and it didn't spontaneously come into being, it has ALWAYS existed in one form or another. The universe and everything in it is made of energy, which can neither be created, nor destroyed, it simply exists in a perpetual state of flux, forever changing form throughout eternity.

People often ****** the universe had a start point and that it will have an *** point, because we're born, we live and we die, so we ****** the universe is like us. I don't agree with that and think it's a hugely flawed perspective, caused by our limited ability to understood the way the universe works. Everything that you are made of existed long before you were born and will exist long after you're dead.

Responding to "Dark Demonic"

"The universe was never created and it didn't spontaneously come into being, it has ALWAYS existed in one form or another..."

Oh contrair! Seems that you've not noted Genesis 1:1 Let me break it down:
1) "In the beginning..." Time as we know it had a definite start.
2) "*** created..." A difinitive act of a Supreme Being (refer to "cause & effect").
3) "...the heavens..." the modern term would be called "space."
4) "...and the earth." Hebrew: "eretz" carries a little broader meaning "dirt, land" and in this example, the "elements" from which earth (dirt) is made of.

A paraphrased version might read: "At the start of the universe (as we know it) *** made the Space / Matter / Time continueum (sp?)."

Genesis 1:1 through 2:3 provides the COMPLETE chronology of the 6-Day Creation period.

Now I'll pull your chain again. It's ESTIMATED that the "moment of Creation" occurred about 4500 B.C.

Enjoy your weekend.

Go 1 step further: Planets & stars, according to the Creation Account, were not made until the 4TH DAY!! To see a 3-part explanation, go to my Web Site: www.RMRondyNews.com & click on the "In No Time..." link. (BTW: I would suggest at least a 10th Grade or higher education level or an acute ability to understand the physics being explained.)

well that leaves out all religious people. they know nothing of higher education besides the bible.

I'd point out that this train of thought has been refuted, before, and post more on the subject, but I'm going to leave it as this for Dark Demonic to respond to.

It like a video made by some Sunday school sophomores . . . it will make other dumb Christians giggle and nod, but anyone with an education will see the video as pretty pathetic.

Whether it is pathetic or not, those same arguments go on regularly here on **.

Although I've only run into one atheist who might sound like a dropout surfer . . . nearly all ***** atheists are fairly intelligent and good writers.

The issue is that is not the *** of the conversation.
The real issue is that believes try and dictate their belief and ideology to society and force other to deal with their ideology by lobbying for social changes and laws to reflect their religious beliefs.

If they would keep their religion in their homes and churches, there would not be a problem at all.

My head is not exploding yet. So you think the Universe needed a creator? As far as I'm concerned, that begs more questions than it answers, but fine. But it makes no difference if hypothetically if there was a creator somewhere down the line, because it still doesn't prove that it was the Biblical *** or any deity of any religion we have ever known about, and it still doesn't prove anyone's religion to be the correct one. So I don't know why some Christians are still bothering us with sh*t like this.

I have never heard any one explain that one to me But to accept that a magician called *** that orders the murder of infants to mention but a few of his filthy habits simply magicked it out of no where sounds a bit over the top to me. there is mathematics available that explains the big bang but I for one wont be dedicating the time required to under stand it. The answer most certainly does not lie with the primitive *** the Jews dreamed up.

There are lots of possibilities. Many untestable theories out there. I read one book that suggested that we exist in a hologram. The one absolute fact you can depend on is that there is no reason for anything whatsoever to exist. It doesn't make sense that anything exists.

and then we return to the exact conditions that existed before we were born.

Obviously something was around before the big bang that caused it to happen, because the big bang was an event, and events always have causes. Since the physical universe did not exist prior to the big bang, whatever caused the big bang must have existed outside of it. Whatever caused the big bang was also obviously powerful enough to cause the Universe to happen.

To me, that sounds a lot like the attributes that people attach to ***.

"Atheists: How to NOT make their heads explode..."

That's easy.... DON'T PUSH RELIGION ON SOMEONE WHO IS NOT INTERESTED!

Capish?

And that's how it should be.

Why does religion matter so much? People should just say "What religion are you?"
"Christain" "Ok cool"
Don't say "BLAAARGH *** ISN'T REAL" "BLAAARG HE IS SO REAL"

a better way is to bring physics into the equation
"laws of matter state that matter cannot be created, nor destroyed, simply transformed. yes? how did matter get created to not be created destroyed or transformed? I'm just saying, I trust *** who always was and forever will be more than a mysterious thing we call matter"

I love how atheists think they know everything.... the bible says, professing themselves to be wise, they become fools...

In an infinite universe of infinite possibility, ANYTHING that CAN happen.......WILL happen, and here we are! I don't think the Big Bang has any credibility either.

Our universe is not required. Wait? *** is not required. Or maybe atheism is not required. Or has atheism been redefined to be PC?

I get so confused.

My question is what created the deities? If the Universe can't always be there why can invisible men in the sky exist for no reason?

Most of us atheist don't think we know everything it is just that we asked a lot of questions about religion and the only answers that make any sense and have any evidence to support them don't involve a ***

Atheists don't know everything- they are happy to say that they don't know something -rather than trying to explain every unknown by saying *** did it.

You have no idea how ironic your sentence was. You literally have it backwards, Emo.

Atheist are largely defined by their ability to find comfort with the answer of "I don't know". People like you, on the other hand, suggest you know everything: "It's right there in the Bible, set in stone, it will never change, no evidence you present can change my own mind, and you just have to read it." Right?

The hilariously self serving statement of "if you don't believe in this, you are dumb" quip you quoted from the Bible is too transparent to believed. There is no way a thinking ***** would use that as some sort of evidence beyond the fact that a human can write down words. The definition of circular logic, or the Napkin Religion.

You literally have it backwards, Emo. Please realize, going forward, you are neither allowed to shift blame to your Bible for calling others a "fool", nor dodge the consequences. Sorry.

Its easy just stop talking about fictional things as if they are real. Faith based things are beliefs not real things. *** is as real as Harry Potter or Jack Reacher or Han Solo. Get over it and every thing will be just fine.
