Sometimes I experiment with things I don't know well though. The results aren't ever "bad", but they're not gourmet, either. Right now I'm experimenting with sauerkraut balls. I forgot the eggs. They're not maintaining their ball shape very well. I'm sure they'll TASTE fine, though.

I cooked for my wife on our first date, and I've been cooking for her ever since! lol

But, seriously, I do 99% of the cooking around here. I'm disabled and cannot work, so she supports the family, and I cook for her. I get up every morning, make her breakfast and pack her lunch before she goes to work, then prepare dinner for her when she gets home. A lot of the time we go out to eat because she works such unpredictable hours though.

My grandmother taught me to cook everything she cooked between the ages of 12 and 14.
She said in case I never married...she apparently knew me better than I thought.
