The new oil boom is thwarting the Caliph's plans. He wanted $8 gas. One more defeat for the Oyatollah. Thanks *** he is such a moron.

With our new drilling techniques (fracking), we are producing more crude oil than ever! The real test is going to be after the elections!

Well, considering that the price was steadily around $3.85 all summer at my preferred station, and now it is down to about $3.25, I'd have to say they are going down. Call me crazy... ;)

When it goes up, it's Obama's fault, when it goes down, it's the republicans fault!

$3.19 down from the recent $3.45. The price was almost $4 before summer.

How long is this dream gonna last though?

Over-all drop of 65 cents without a significant increase over the last several months.

Different areas of the US have different needs. Some States are more opulent, so gas is higher, while less opulent, are lower. In Michigan is are around 2.89 or slightly lower.

Fuel prices have not changed that much. Since being in China for 14 years, the price has only gone up about $1.00

Funny that over 14 years ago Unleaded was higher than Diesel, but is now the exact opposite.

For a little while today, oil dropped below $80 a barrel for the first time since 2007. Good for now, but I fear something bad in the works...just sayin'.

Time proven patterns show gas prices always go down before an election then go back up in time to screw people that travel for the holidays

they have definitely been going down over the last 2 weeks or so.

but definitely up since the late 1990s

Because of the upcoming elections. Then they will go back up. The gov manipulates the gas prices. It is no coincidence that the price has gone down at this time.

Gas prices here in the Hampton Roads is at $2.80 a gallon. It's still too high but it beats paying $4.00 a gallon.
