It was May 18,2008 and I remember having a big meal at home, what church it was, and BARELY remember my dress. I remember how happy I was after I took it and my teacher giving us small prizes when we were done!

I only recall that a neighbor and I were dressed in white (there is a photo) and, I think we even got white rosaries from Sister Serafina.

It was in December 1959, I had a white suit and two toned shoes. I looked like Puffy Combs or something. We had a big party at my parents' house. It was a very big deal, my grandfather gave me a silver dollar. I gave my grandson one when he made his.

Not really, other than having to wear a white suit I don't remember much about it at all. Incidentally I'm an atheist now.

I was about 6, went to Sunday school learned the Catechism and my class when we graduated had our first communion together. I had a blue suit on with a white ribbon on my arm and a carnation and the girls had white dresses at the 9 AM ********'s mass.

I went through the RCIA process when I was 21, before my husband and I got married. It was a wonderful experience. I love the Catholic faith.
