“We must question the story logic of having an all-knowing all-powerful ***, who creates faulty Humans, and then blames them for his own mistakes.” ― Gene Roddenberry

There may or may not be a ****, no way to know, but I think this existence is actually already a sort of **** anyway, otherwise we would not have to struggle and have so much crime. If there is a **** I don't really see how it can be a whole lot worse..just the fact alone that soooo many evil people thrive in the world and good seems scarce tends to prove that to me, still what people make it......

I asked my minister about that in confirmation class. Never could get a straight answer. Nor could I get one about all the rest of the people in th world who have ever lived, in the past and now, but have never had the opportunity to hear about Jesus. Couldn't get an answer about them, either.

I think it is very arrogant for anyone to say only Christians will not go to ****, there is absolutely no proof to support this.

There is no proof that a place like **** exists. It is in ourselves, if anywhere.

That is a good theory, actually, we are what we make ourselves, I don't think it takes specific religious beliefs to secure that, its all the person themselves.

Yup!
Whoever thought up the idea of real **** as a place to which anyone should be condemned for all eternity deserves it to go there. And they probably are there....

There is certainly evil in the world, but when I think about all the people I have met and known over the years, both casually and intimately, he vast majority have been nothing but good. I have had the good fortune to have traveled a LOT, and I cannot tell you how many instances of spontaneous kindness from strangers I have been the beneficiary of, as well as the good people I have known. Not that I know or have ever known any saints, but good people nonetheless
Unfortunately, the evil doers are the ones who make th headlines.

LOTS of people do good things, large and small, every minute of everyday. It kind of comes naturally to the human species, given half a chance.

Want to believe that, but it is very elusive to witness. I make a point of trying to do nice things, because when I was younger I was rather self centered, and wish to attone.

Good for you, but I could tell you tale after tale of the nice things, large and small, that people have done for me and LOTS of others.Don't lose faith.

**** is nothing but a scare tactic.

Without the gloom and doom and the threats, of suffering and fire, Christianity would have no reason to exist..

I wouldn't go that far. Christianity does offer the carrot, and even without the carrot I believe a certain inspiration to do the right thing, but since there is not evidence of either carrot or stick.. I would say its best reason for existence is inspiration by example.

If there is a ****, I want to be the gate Keeper, so I can welcome in all the Hypocritical Christian bigots when they get there..

I'm going with just plain no.... if they aren't a Christian then chances are that they don't believe in ****, so how are they going to a place they don't believe exists?

Dead is dead. Live your life to the fullest, it's the only one you'll get, and be good for goodness sake.

I don't know who will be there and who will not. I do know that many people of all religions don't follow their books very well and maybe don't deserve the paradise they are counting on by ***********.

No, not really. We Jews do not have "****," for one.

Other.

I have no idea. I leave the judging to ***.

I don't know. I guess everyone will eventually find out if they made good life decisions, or bad life decisions.

Having been raised Christian I feel a tug towards Christianity. However I have numerous problems with that religion and others too. There are many apologies and philosophical gyrations intended to get away from the image of a loving *** frying those he doesn't like for eternity. Whether or not they satisfy me isn't the main point. The exclusion of non-believers from the promised paradise is perhaps the main root of the xenophobia many Christians display. Christianity is not unique in this regard of course, but I didn't ask about other religions.

Some are already in ****, as are some Christians. Ones proclaimed religion has little to do with whether he or she resides in self-made ****. “The Bible itself says, 'The Kingdom of Heaven is within you.' If you consider yourself to be the body, there is some difficulty in understanding this statement. On the other hand, if you know who you really are, the Kingdom of Heaven and all are included in your true Self.” from Talks with Ramana Maharshi

“Three out of the four New Testament gospels state that heaven is “out of this world,” whereas one has Jesus saying it is here, in this world. Which is it? (In the summer of 1999 Pope John Paul II stated that heaven and **** were not actual places but rather that they were states (of this life) involving being in relations with *** or out of relation with him.) from The Problem of the Soul by Flanagan

There are plenty of Christians in **** already as Norway is home to about 4,143,687 Christians of many denominations... I would be very surprised if not a single one of them reside in that quaint little town...

It is fear Christians instil into it's members to make an attempt at keeping them in line. Religion through fear, hmm, sound familiar?
