I remember thing, 23! Almost a 1/4 century year old. I felt SOOOO old .. so very old. Worst B-Day ever had. Then it occurred to me - lighten up, you will have one of these every year you are alive. Rejoice and be glad!!

Awwwwwwwww...I am two years older then you are, and I still feel young. ☺
I had cancer at age 48. Now, many years later, I am still here. Yes. ***Thank the LORD.**** Rejoice.

Hasn't happened. I celebrate that I am still kicking, and I enjoy birthdays. The gifts are no longer important but spending family time and going out to dinner is nice.

That will be the last one I care about. I am turning 19 tomorrow (Tuesday). I'm not too excited, but I am excited for my 21st.

My mom used to try throw me birthday parties. But i always asked her please don't. My other family members aren't like this. Anytime my birthday or holidays pop up. I disappear for few days.

My birthdays will always be special, as my 20th was the day I celebrated my new life in Christ through baptism.

Around 40 because I still felt 20 and wondered what the heck happened.

Not yet. Everyone, wants to be remembered. A card will do. We don't need anymore STUFF, as one gets older,,but I like a card. A phone call, and I do the same for those other people.
Wow , I see a lot of people, don't care. Maybe that is because ,NO ONE CARES to do that for them?

People never stop caring, they just bury it after becoming ******. In my circle we find out someone's birthday and make a point of taking them out to dinner, drinks and cake :). Everybody has a good time, and a good excuse to visit with friends.

About 11.
My folks said birthday celebrations were only for little kids.

The moment it would've troubled a friendship with a Freshman girl who may have liked me back. Each one, I feel I'm older than I am and by 28, will be too depressed or emotionally dead to do anything at all. OR the other option, I just avoid thinking about it altogether, preferring not celebrate it at all. That helps best.

It was a gradual process that started around 16 and then I totally quit caring after 21 I guess. The depressing one is when I found I no longer cared about Christmas. Now I make an effort to get more into the spirit of the season.
