Depends. It doesn't matter to me how you spell it, I know what you mean. But.....
1.) Bologna is a sandwich meat.
2.) Boloney or baloney is a word used for 'nonsense' or 'bullsh*t', such as "That's a bunch of baloney."
Just my 2 cents.

I would of spelled it baloney.. if I had never watched the oscar mayer winner commercial

Is the grammatically correct way, but I would argue not the most phonetically correct one.

I feel that it has two different meaning (1) Bologna=You put it in between two slices of bread. (2) Baloney=You are not telling the truth-Your just full of it.

No, I don't eat fish, but I'm not vegan.

As long as your healthy and happy-You can't get any better than that.

In my opinion, I'm much healthier than most meat eaters. They tell me that being a vegetarian is unhealthy because I don't get enough protein this way, but they don't understand that there are plenty of other sources of protein.

As for me,I like a good chunk of beef every once in awhile. Not all the time.I do like a big bowl of salad with every meal.As I said " as long as your healthy and happy".

Usually I say if you want to spell something wrong just ask me. But not this time because I know the Oscar Meyer song.

"....Because Ocsar Mayer has a way with B-O-L-O-G-N-A".

"Baloney" is a corruption of bologna, so yes, bologna.

The food is spelled b-o-l-o-g-n-a. The term "baloney" refers to the slang term for foolishness or nonsense.

I've read several books and articles where the food was spelled "baloney".

Huh, that's weird. I'm going to be stubborn and argue that those books/articles were spelling it wrong then. lol.

It is the traditional, and in my opinion, more fun way to spell it. I love the complete lack of obedience to English rules of phonetics. Go, BOLOGNA, it's a total rebel.

Indeed the English language is a funny thing.
