Can you intentionally blur your eyes, even if you have perfect vision?

Hopefully this makes since but I can blur my eyes and I have 20/20 vision, is this normal?

i can do that as well and i don't have any eye sight problems, when i have a headache i do it and ease the pain alot... would be nice if an expert can tell us what's going on

Well I do need glasses
because I see blurry
5 feet infront of me!
But when I'm close to something
I can intentionally see blurry.

Yeah, when I don't blink with my contacts in. : ) It is normal, it happens when your eyes dry out.

It's called accommodation, your eyes have tons and tons of muscles in them, and when you blur your eyesight on command, you're relaxing the muscles in your eyes. As to why people find it soothing especially when you've got a headache.This is something every human can do. Just not everyone has done it on purpose or took any recognition to it. Hope I helped.

I can do that too and i dont lower my eyelid.its just like looking at an object through a glass window then taking your focus on the glass and the object becomes blurry

I can blur my eyes, it just brings closer things into focus
Something ****** to try is the opposite, Set a finger about 6 inches from your eyes and bring the background into focus while still seeing 1 finger! Don't let it double! Only the background should be double

Me too I can do that and I even could at a very young age people with this ability, I think we have it at birth just don't take it into consideration how many of you can also **** air from you eyes and move the large vein in the middle knuckle of your hand and move your ears and do a wierd thing with you thumb

oh ok so it's your glasses that make everything clearer, and when you take them off that makes it blurry< i have the same kind of thing only if i put reading glasses on my vission fades, but when i take them off everything is clear!
