I have had 7 of them for 9 years now. I'm tired of having the money sitting around but not sure if I should just go put them in the bank yet...Do they still print them?? And why in the world would we want to switch to dollar coins?! More change to carry around...and heavy change at that! No way.

spend them, they are more common than many people think and I often ask for them when I'm at the bank, if they were used more often you'd see them more.

I like the suggestion that we do away with the $1 paper bill and replace it with the dollar coin and then making the $2 bill the smallest note. I don't see it happening but I'd welcome the 'change'(pun wasn't intended, but it worked)

I think they are also great for giving tips when dining out

I spend them if they are the reissues and save them if they are the old ones from the early 20th century.

The 2 dollar Bill never had a really legitimate need for it. It's come and gone through neglect and a newlt=y design on it's reverse side in 1976 of the Signing of thre Declaration. The joke was according to my Father that it was manufactured for those who went to the track and plaed the horses. True or not it does or did make an *********** with the low lifes of the Country.

I can't help it; I'm a packrat, and I almost never see them. I think even though I never spend them, I still only have two or three. One from back when they still made them, one from when they started reprinting them for a little while, and maybe another one of those.

there are more two dollar bills in circulation than fifty dollar bills. They are worth exactly two dollars a piece. Get it in the bank so you can start to get interest on them.

I spend them on special occasions, like tips.

I knew of a film company that wanted to film in a small town. The people objected that it would disturb their quiet, peaceful life. Finally, the town relented. The production manager got thousands of dollars in $2 bills. They spent all their petty cash in $2 bills. Suddenly, the town filled with $2 bills and the people realized the huge economic impact the filming had on the town.
