Are you ready for Valentine's Day?

Valentine's Day for us is a day we never forget. It is our wedding anniversary. Married my high school sweetheart and we still have that same 16 year old look in our eyes when we look at each other every day.

Not really ..but I am comfortable with being still SINGLE on yet another Valentine's Day overall (hey, it happens .. just won't settle for any 'warm body').

So I'll be just fixing myself a dinner at home, enjoying the peace and quiet (and not dealing with the nuttiness in the evening.

im as prepared as im gonna get since i cant be with the man i love more than anything this world has/could give me. and i wont be able to be with him next valentines either. but im making it a priority for us to be together everyday after april 12th 2012 at least see each other for a little while everyday :)

Anyway... I really don't have anyone for Valentines Day and I doubt that anyone will show me any attention. But that is okay... I'm a paranoid shut in. ^^ Maybe when I get out, I will start looking.

I want Valentine's Day to disappear. And I'm not just being bitter because I'm single. I just hate Valentine's Day. I always have, even when I was, like, 10. It's a stupid holiday. St. Valentine (for whom V-day is named) isn't even the patron saint of love or romance or anything. Over time it just morphed into a stupid excuse for people to get laid and eat candy.
